This is a large and very rare 1970's Swiss made Wakmann Skindiver Chronograph vintage watch. This Wakmann is not an ordinary or more commonly seen Wakmann Chronograph. Skindiver Chronograph is an unique and very attractive model designed by Wakmann with rotating blue and grey bezel. This particular piece does contain its original box, tags, instructional pamphlet, and an unsigned guarantee certificate. The original case has a serial number showing 314-13 and is made of solid stainless steel. The case back gasket is brand new. The crystal looks to be in excellent condition. The jumbo case has an measurement of 39mm in diameter excluding the crown by 41mm length from lug to lug. The factory original dial is absolutely gorgeous and in excellent condition. It has a nice dark chocolate brown patina finish which takes decades to produce. The watch takes a clean manual wind Valjoux 7736 movement which is running strong and keeping very accurate time. The chronograph is in working order, however, it does need an adjustment. When the chrono is activated, the minute right dial will begin at 1 instead of 0. But if the watch is purchase for the respect of it's rarity, collection purposes, and tell time. Then this watch is a great excample of true vintage chronograph beauty. Will come included with a brand new genuine leather waterproof strap.
