Here is a very early vintage Movado triple calendar watch.  Like most gent's watches during the 1940s, this piece measures 32mm across in diameter excluding crown by 39mm lug tip to lug tip.  The solid stainless steel is in very good condition.  What makes this watch very special is the hallmark stamp on the upper left lug, which indicate that this watch (model/style) is made specially for the European market.   The case model is 14776/00497129.  The original dial on this watch is nicely aged and patina.  The watch has been serviced prior to listing.  Will come with a new crystal and a high quality genuine lizard skin leather strap.  The upper pusher is to advance the month.  To change the date you can use quick set it by pushing the lower pusher, or manually turn the crown every 24hr for each date to change.  The day will change in every 24hr.
