1950s EBEL AUTOMATIC VINTAGE WATCH
I don't know about you all, but one of the joys of collecting vintage watches for me is searching for modern luxury brands that have a rich history while still being able to find their vintage pieces at an affordable price. A great example of this is a vintage Ebel watch, like this one, which dates back to the 1950s. It's a stunning timepiece and worth every penny for its quality. This watch features an automatic movement powered by the Ebel calibre 119.
The lyre-type lugs on this piece are quite similar to those found on a Universal Genève Polerouter. I also appreciate the textured combination of the original dial on this watch. The case is gold-plated with a stainless steel back, and it has a case diameter of 35.3 millimeters, which is a decent size and should fit comfortably on most wrist sizes. I paired this piece with a beautiful alligator-grain leather strap to enhance the luxurious appearance of the timepiece.
