1960s HEUER CARRERA CHRONOGRAPH VINTAGE WATCH
Here is a stunning and highly sought-after vintage Heuer Carrerra Chronograph watch in excellent condition. It features an immaculate factory original finish dial.
It is powered by a high-grade, fully serviced Valjoux caliber 72 manual-wind chronograph movement, which shares the same caliber as many other sought-after timepieces and well-respected in the watch community. The model's serial number is 120257, dating this watch to the 1960s.
The acrylic crystal is in excellent condition, and the original crown is signed. The case is gold plated with a steel back and is in excellent shape. The case model is 2448 and measures 36 mm in diameter (excluding the crown) and 44.7 mm from lug tip to lug tip. Seldom do you see this reference with the gold-plated case looking this superb.
This watch will come with a new 18 mm genuine leather strap. The wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches. Tag Heuer has reissued this iconic watch as part of their Heritage collection, building on this original vintage version.
